Although we may attempt to notify you when major changes are made to these Terms and Conditions, you should periodically review the most up-to-date version. World of Gadgets may, at its sole discretion, modify or revise these Terms and Conditions and policies at any time, and you agree to be bound by such modifications or revisions. Nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to confer any third-party rights or benefits. Returns, Replacements and RefundsAll good sold by World of Gadgets are subject to a 12 month replacement warranty starting from the date of initial receipt. This means that any item that shows fault within the first 12 months of sale can be returned for replacement as long as the fault has not been caused by the user. Under no circumstances will World of Gadgets offer and extended warranty. World of Gadgets guarantee, at its discretion, to refund, replace, or repair, free of charge, within invoice date any goods proven to be faulty by design or workmanship, provided that the goods have not been misused, modified, or attempted to be repaired by anyone other than the manufacturer and provided that the goods have been stored, operated and maintained within the manufacturers specified conditions. Any damaged goods received by the buyer must be reported to a member of staff within 2 days of receipt (as per the Distance Selling Regulations). ALL Returns must be authorised by a World of Gadgets member of staff. Under no circumstances will returns be accepted unless so authorised and no refund or replacement supplied. All items must be sent via a recorded delivery method to ensure all parcels reach us, lack of postage proof can affect your replacement or refund claim adversely. Once the damaged goods are received by a member of staff they will be evaluated and if fault is found then a refund or replacement will be issued. If no fault is found by our technical support team then the item(s) will be held at the World of Gadgets office whilst efforts are made to contact you regarding a return shipping payment for the said product(s). Once the relevant returns shipping payment has been received by World of Gadgets, the said product(s) will be shipped back to the address specified for the return. Although World of Gadgets offer a fixed and sometimes free shipping fee at point of sale, a non-faulty product return shipping cost will be calculated based on the actual cost of shipping as well as repackaging. Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days (Before receipt of the goods). All cancellation notifications must be received by a World of Gadgets member of staff in writing quoting order reference (preferably by email). The Distance Selling Regulations 2000 provide the opportunity for customers who 'mail order' goods to be check the received items for such things as size, colour, etc. They do not provide the opportunity for a purchaser to use a received product before deciding that it not what they wanted, much in the same way as a purchaser from a 'High Street' store will not allow a purchaser to take home and try out purchased goods and still expect an unconditional refund. If after receiving your ordered product(s), you decide that the appearance and size, weight etc. does not meet with your initial expectations at time of purchase, then you may return the item(s) to us together with original undamaged packaging and in original UNUSED condition within 7 days of delivery date for a full product refund. Any item returned in a used state and/or with damaged original packaging will not be eligible for refund. All returns, as stated above, must be authorised by a World of Gadgets member of staff in writing, quoting order number (preferably by email). All returns for refund must be accompanied with a copy of original invoice or order confirmation. The consumer under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 is only entitled to a refund relating to price of the purchased goods only and this refund will exclude the return carriage charge, for which legally, the consumer is totally responsible. Any requests for a return of unused product(s) for refund outside the 7 day regulated period will be rejected, without exception. Bespoke or non-standard items manufactured/made to/or adapted to a customers' requirements, by their very nature, will not be subject to a calling off or cancellation period or refund specified in Distance Selling Regulations. Distance Selling Regulations only apply to purchasers from the UK. Software product, due to their very nature are classed as non-standard items that are not covered by the distance selling regulations and as such are not covered by our return for refund policy. Refunds under the distance selling regulations can only be agreed 'in principle' until the product(s) subject of the return have been received at the World of Gadgets office and have been examined and determined to be in an acceptable unused condition.Where a refund has been fully' authorised, a refund payment will be processed within 30 working days from the date that World of Gadgets receives the returned product. NB: Under the Money Laundering Regulations 2007, authorised refunds can only returned using the same payment method under which the initial transaction was processed at point of sale (e.g. if payment was made by card then that same card will be reimbursed the relevant refund amount). DeliveryAll delivery times stated by a World of Gadgets member of staff either over the phone or via e-mail may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. All goods will be sent via a 'Signed For' system, if for some reason you are unavailable to sign for the package it will be taken to your local Postal Sorting Office. It is the responsibility of the consumer to contact the sorting office and arrange re-delivery. In the event that no collected is made by the consumer the package will be returned to us. As such we reserve the right to charge additional postage costs for any item that must be re-sent by ourselves. User ErrorWorld of Gadgets is not responsible for incompatibility errors with software or operating systems for any of our products after the point of sale. World of Gadgets will attempt to inform all customers of system requirements in the Product Description however it is the customer's responsibility to ensure the product will work with their system. If you are unsure please contact us to discuss any additional system requirements. All items are fully tested by a World of Gadgets member of staff to ensure they work fully. World of Gadgets take no responsibility for user error that may cause damaging side affects to either the product or anything working in conjunction with said product. If this occurs the user will not be entitled to any form of refund or replacement. Fraud Counter-MeasuresDue to the high level of on-line fraud in today's world, World of Gadgets undertake extensive security checks on all transactions processed through our website in an effort to secure not only ourselves but our customers as well. As such World of Gadgets reserve the right to request additional information to back up or support information already provided by a customer in regards to payment security checks undertaken. Please ensure that all information provided is correct and up to date. Refusal to supply this additional information will result in the cancellation of your order. As of 01/9/2011 all first time orders, or orders of £200 or greater must be delivered to the billing address of the payment card unless the payment has transacted with 3D secure authentification. World of Gadgets will not ship goods, on orders stated previously, to a separate delivery address due to massively increased on-line fraud. As of 01/09/11 ALL international order over £250 must be paid for via electronic transfer payment unless the transaction is fully 3D secure authenticated. Spy Stuff LegalityAll items featured in the Spy Stuff section of the World of Gadgets website are legal to operate within the UK and Europe. All responsibility, however, for any infringement of another persons Human or Privacy rights is squarely upon the customer. As such it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the equipment is used in compliance with all Human Rights, Privacy Rights, Civil and Criminal laws active in the area of use. By accepting these terms and conditions you agree to take full responsibility for the use of any equipment purchased from the Spy Stuff Section on the World of Gadgets website. MiscellaneousIf, by mistake, we have under priced an item, we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we dispatch the item to you. In those circumstances, we will notify the correct price to you so you can decide whether or not you wish to order the item at that price. If you decide not to order the item, we will give you a full refund on any amount already paid for that item in accordance with our refund policy.
