The perceived vision of the good old British male has undergone somewhat of a transformation over the past few years and in some way it was really required because they were lagging behind their European counterparts in some respects. Of course there are certain virtues of the old British male image that we don’t want to lose, but in reality many old practices do not fit with the modern world. At one time a British man would only leave the house with a wallet and a handkerchief in his pocket, but these days every man leaves the house with a plethora of the latest gadgets

There has been a substantial increase in available gadgets for men . Many of these new gadgets have become so integrated into a mans’ everyday life that he carries them with him everywhere he goes. Gadgets for men that fall into this category include mobile phones, hand-held computers, MP3 players. Some men carry more than one mobile phone to keep business and personal separate. Add to this list gadgets such as digital dictaphones, USB Flash Drives and it becomes that there will be a problem in accommodating all, of these in the pockets of his trousers or jeans. The problem is more obvious when during summer no coat is required, so there is no additional pockets for storage there

What is the answer? With the amount of personal gadgets for men set to increase it certainly isn’t more pockets in his trousers, so many have resorted to going ‘European’ by carrying a man-bag. OK, there are some men that may not feel comfortable with this (those old British virtues getting in the way again), but really this is the only answer. And with cool clothing manufacturers stocking the shelves with smart man-bags, then now is the time to cast off those stuffy old-fashioned ideals

So many everyday gadgets for men have caused a problem and we have found a resolution, but be careful because if you opt for a man-bag then your girlfriend will think it’s OK to put putting her things in there too!
